MEDIA RELEASE

18 November 2016: Gowrie NSW Mudgee Early Education and Care will be holding a Community Connections Day from 9am to 12pm on Saturday, 3rd December, which will be open to the general public.

The family friendly day is a fantastic opportunity for the local Mudgee community to explore our brand new, state-of-the-art centre, and experience what we have to offer for young children.

From meeting with community health organisation, speech pathologists, scouts, and the local ambulance and fire brigade services, this all ages event will offer free demonstrations and workshops for locals to experience throughout the day.

There will also be an opportunity to meet with our Gowrie NSW Mudgee educators and to enjoy a sausage sizzle.

Mandy Edwards, Director at Gowrie NSW Mudgee Early Education and Care, said “We are thrilled to be able to open our doors to the local community and offer them a fun and educational day where they will learn about what our centre has to offer.”

“This event will also enable locals to connect with each other and the local organisations, such as the ambulance and fire brigade services, that serve our beloved community.”

Gowrie NSW CEO, Lynne Harwood, said the open day shows our commitment to regional NSW.

“Gowrie NSW is dedicated to expanding our reach within regional areas, and understands the importance of promoting activities that aligns with the entire community.”

This unique event will be held at 39 Saleyards Lane, Mudgee and will begin at 9am and conclude at 12pm. For more information please contact mandy.edwards@gowriensw.com.au
