Gowrie NSW Dubbo
$264.00

This day will include the following 2 sessions.

A Positive Start to School: working with the NSW Transition to School Statement

This session will help you to develop a transition to school program that includes the NSW Transition to School Statement, is responsive to individual children and creates a ‘team’ comprising of the child, educators, family and the school. You will walk away with an understanding the Statement, it’s use and best practice for delivering a successful road map for children entering the school environment.

Reflective Practice: let’s re-engage and re-examine

Continuously engaging in reflection, both as individuals and as teams, maintains ownership of what we do and why we do it. This session will explore the importance of critical reflection. Reflective strategies will be used to unpack and discuss our own personal and professional values and beliefs, and how these translate into service philosophies, practices and documentation.
