Event description

We are coming to an area near you!

Are you interested in:

  • Exploring your personal journey of cultural competence in line with the EYLF and NQS.
  • Working towards including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in your centre.
  • Developing connections with local communities and working in a team environment to build on these connections.
  • Providing an inclusive setting dedicated to the education and care of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.

ICH Yarnin Circle’s are designed for early childhood and child care services eligible under the Inclusion Support Programme (ISP). Working in conjunction with the Inclusion Agency (IA) these sessions will be an ongoing commitment to the inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families into your setting. It is expected that you will be able to commit to these Yarnin Circles with attendance on a monthly basis.

The following dates are the first in the series for sessions in your area:

  • Tuesday 19th September, 10am - 2pm
  • Tuesday 17th October, 10am - 1pm
  • Tuesday 14th November, 10am - 1pm

Venue: Vinegar Hill Memorial Community Centre, Margaret Catchpole Room, Civic Way, Rouse Hill Town Centre , Rouse Hill

Please note: This opportunity is for eligible services who are supported by the Inclusion Support Programme, places will be available for eligible services initially and any other services wishing to participate may be placed on a waiting list.
